October 15 2017 Challenge Featured Layout #2

It's time for our last feature of October. But before we show you a beautiful layout that was submitted to our October 15th sketch challenge, we want to recognize our sponsors.

A big Stuck?! Sketches thank you goes out to Lindy's Stamp Gang for sponsoring this challenge with a $25.00 gift certificate to their online shop!
Lindy's luscious luster is all uniquely two-toned! With vibrant shimmery sprays, flat sprays, vintage sprays, embossing powder and lots more! Lindy’s Stamp Gang is the creative” baby” of Lindy Plakinger. She passed away in 2008 after bravely battling illness. She was a self-made cartoonist, loved drawing, crafting, designing new products, and creating her funny cartoon characters! One of her greatest joys was traveling to stamping and scrapbooking conventions across the US, demo-ing to her heart’s content with her sister, and giggle partner, Vicki! Lindy’s Stamp Gang will continue, as was her hope, and dream. Her husband and daughter have taken over the company keeping her creativity alive. Tracey, (her daughter), has always been a “jar filler” in the background of Lindy’s Stamp Gang, but is now trying to fill some incredible shoes!

Barbara is our featured artist today. What a great way to achieve the angled element at the top of the sketch—by folding down the corner to reveal the patterned paper "hidden" beneath. And the mixed media and chipboard embellies really pull it all together.

We are so glad you joined us, Barbara. Please grab our "featured" button below and wear it on your blog.
Here's another look at the sketch:

Please link up your layouts over in the sidebar by October 29th 2017 at midnight EST to be in the running for one of our prizes. All prizes will be drawn randomly using Random.org to pick a number.

When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole as it can be hard for our team to find your layout, especially if you blog often. You can also link from any gallery including Facebook and Flickr (though we may not be able to comment in all forums).

Feel free to combine this sketch challenge with other non-sketch challenges, such as colour challenges.

Please post a link back to Stuck?! Sketches on your blog entry for our challenge. We would also love for you to share the sketch, too!

Thank you for visiting us today. We hope our sketch inspires you. Be sure to show us what you've made because we love to see your work and hand out prizes.

Janice :-)
